I use Xmarks at work and home and can access it remotely from anywhere. It syncs very easily and I like how you can organize your bookmarks hierarchically in folders (you still have the option of tagging your bookmarks with keywords). When I want to do collaborative bookmarking or for quick research projects I use Delicious. You can't beat Delicious for ease of use but it can grow out of control! It's nice to add quick annotations describing what you like about sites you've bookmarked, but try to be consistent with your tag terms to keep all that information together. I sometimes ask why bother bookmarking when search engines make it so easy to retrieve information... but then again it's sometimes difficult to recreate searches that yield quality sites. PS - look up Social Bookmarking in Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_bookmarking for information about other features and lists of other products. Good luck. |

I use Xmarks, an addon available for all major browsers, to sync bookmarks across computers. I've been liking it and haven't had problems. It also has optional password sync, but I'm very wary about using something like that, so I don't. Just search for it in your browser's addon window. |

I've been using Chrome lately, and I found a very good extension for Google Bookmarks called YAGBE (Yet Another Google Bookmark Extension). The main issues I foresee are:
