Ever since I downloaded the 9.0.3 update for iTunes, its autodelete function hasn't worked. It didn't work on my old iMac (running 10.4.11), and it doesn't work on my new one (running 10.6.2). Has anyone else noticed this? Any fixes? It's getting a bit annoying having to delete podcasts manually (I try to only keep those to which I haven't listened).
Please Note: The SparkExchange is closing up shop. We decided to start SparkExchange as an experiment back in February 2010. Since that time, StackExchange (upon which SparkExchange is built) has made some changes. So, as of July 13, 2010, this site will no longer exist. Thanks to everyone who tried this experiment out with us. If you're looking for a larger (but similar) community, try Super User.

Found this response that may be of help: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2044512&tstart=0 Topic : played podcasts don't autodelete "I just realized that the little 'refresh' button bottom right of the podcast view in iTunes both checks for new podcasts from those I subscribe to, and deletes the ones I have listened to--just clicked it to see what it would do, and guess what, it does what I wanted." |
